First two rounds ready to be picturised, round 3 one third down... and then all the rest piled up looking at me expectantly 

Though i think I *might* have overstretched myself for one `normal` round and especcially for round 10  but it will be done

Just about finished with the 4th team. I should be ready to take some pictures by this weekend if I can fit it in around my kids activities.

At some point I doubted if I would ever find the time to paint again but I just finished (almost) round 1 and 2 or 3 for the LPL. The static grass is drying as I type, then it's time for extra base embellishments and varnish. After that it's picture time. I'm rather pleased as these models have been on my painting table for a while.

Sounds like a lot of folks are ahead of me...! I have two entries completed except for the bases. I started the third one last night, only to reread the thread and say -- augh!  "Old Metal" is Week 1!  I had missed that in my eagerness to get started.  So, I guess I'll be priming those bad boys up today.  That said, I shouldn't have too much of a problem finishing up my first four rounds before entry time.  I have a wide variety of periods planned to enter, with a selection of scales, too!

I have at least 5 teams painted, but no pictures. I think with the contest limited I will defer to the better quality painters. I will still endever to keep up on my painting though. Really need to work on that lead pile.

same here ... problem is, I came into the hobby in about 2000, so minis from before y2k are more of an archeological subject for me. Found an old dwarf a while ago - but only one - and as You all know ... one dwarf is nothing

Actually I am waiting for a friends old metal minis 

However, I got my fourths theam nearly completely painted and I also got an idea for other 5 rounds ... need only one more idea ... but there is more time for the "after 3" rounds.

My LPL is seriously on the line atm

Wednesday night I was rushed to the hospital, stayed there for two days doing all kinds of gastro and notso funny tests.

Turns out something is not all to jiffy with the liver adn got some stomach `celzers, so next friday I`m back in for surgery (well, unless I get another crisis before that, then it should get solved a tat quicker teehee  ) and *should* be back home the afternoon of the 27th.

Unless it has some complications, then I won`t be home in time

I'm sorry to here that Tomsche...I hope that things work out and your back in action ASAP.  Your wonderful entries will certainly be missed...mayhaps something can be worked out?

Well... my first four entries are completed... sans photos.

So looks like I'm going to try to get in and give Frank a run for the Championship.

Man...I'm starting to feel the presure...I have two teams in the bag...am scrambling to finish entries for the contests over at CDO and Bugman's (6 figures total)...and have team 3 on the corks ready to roll...but less than a week to go now! tick toc...tick toc....

Got most sorted out, am halfway there `just in case` I get out of roulation for a while... but BOTH my mail orders (from two entirely seperate sources) for rounds 5 and 10 got stuck in `problem with supplier` limbo

Teams 1,2 and 3 completed, Half of round 5 finished = a few other bits, will photo first 3 rounds tomorrow and draft entry email. Need to get more focused have still wasted to much potential painting time.

well I have a couple of teams ready, a couple of teams primed and a few others ready to be painted.
Oh and I received a package from Portugal yesterday which had a very nice vehicle for the later rounds in it (My thanks for Predatorpt for this fast delivery).

Now I have a few things to change for my first entry since I wasn't able to get rid of the huge molded bases of the minis. I do have a Plan. Let's hope everything will work as intended. Then it's Photo-Session and then ...

Then its of to the Tactica for a day of pure pleasure before launching Monday in the frenzy LPL will be
