New Italians are already on the PM website and ready to order. :-*
The foot command looks very useful (beyond the borders of Italy) and theres a Paulo Uccello inspired mounted commander .
No sign of the carts yet!!

I feel another order coming on....

Wow! Some superb pieces there. I have to have those Borgias!!!
Love the guy with the trumpet too...

Damn it. I only placed an order a couple of days ago.
Now I'll have to place another one - and the last one hasn't even arrived yet!  ::)

Amazing, just amazing.
And these appearing just as I finish (re)reading The Prince makes them all the more tempting!  lol

Yep. Given how fond Charles the Bold was of Italian mercenaries, these could easily find their place in a Burgundian army.

Fancy headgear aside, presumably the foot could pass muster as English WotR?

And I do like the look of the wicker cart.
My LAF Gallery is HERE
Minis (foot & mounted) finished in 2025 = 74
(2024 = 38; 2023 = 151; 2022 = 204; 2021 = 123; 2020 = ???)

Love the wicker cart.
Lots of uses for that.
Very nice figures too.

Could this be the reason for the plethora of carts?

"If your going to 'Partizan' in Newark (Nottinghamshire...UK!) on sunday come and say hello as we're putting on a War of the Roses game there. It's loosely based on Margret of Anjou's flight to the coast and hence France after the Battle/rout of Hexham in 1464".

I think we all know about women and luggage :)

I have no idea of what you are talking about!  ???

Well, that'll be it then! They needed a cart onvoy, so now they're selling the same! Fair enough really I suppose...  ;)

I do rather like the beer barrel on wheels with the chap trying to get a drink...  ::)

Extract from the Wiki entry for Hexham 1464:
"Sir William Tailboys was captured and executed shortly after as he tried to flee north with £2000 of Henry's war chest." - so that'll be the wagon to ensure get's captured in the game.
The pic on the PM website of the harbour set-up for the game looks very enticing...

Simon.
