The cavalry are finished, painted to tabletop standard and an awful photograph posted.

And the rest of the army needed some standardbearers.

How do you like the wargame factory amazons?

very nice stuff You made there @Froggy

just for curiosity - why did You make the choice to have the girls so tanned?
obviously it totally makes sense in the context of the colour scheme and also the general usage that most miniatures are painted nothern-european (Yes, apart from the ethnically tagged orientals and africans) - but I am curious to know about Your choice

They look really sinister! I love how they've turned out. The contrast with the white horses is also a nice touch.

I like the Amazon figures a lot.  They're a bit fiddly, but not badly so, and they take well to conversions.

The first set I painted were intended for a raygun setting, so I gave them an alien grey skin color.  I just kept it for the new ones so they'd match.  They're ahistorical, so I can basically do anything I want with them.  Who knows, after all, what uncivilized behaviors they get up to so far away from civilized Greece?

my intention was not to criticize the skin colour, on the contrary
 I was just curious
actually I think miniature humanoids are too pale most of the time, even elves

I'm not worried if you're not.

And yeah, most elves die of sunburn, huh?
