Some beautiful stuff here, but I have to ask - where is the moisture condenser from?  Did I miss it earlier in the thread?

Well spotted sir. The condenser and the fish tank scrub is new! The robot just wanted his piccy taken ;)

Great stuff Matt  8)

Thanks Steve, I said they would get a smart paint job. Thanks for the figures.

That pistol toting officer, what's with his face? Is he a vampire or is he sticking out his tongue? I painted it as a tongue.  ???

Excellent work! I'm definitely stealing the over-sized cow idea, and I love your various vehicle/terrain pieces. Keep up the awesome work!

Thanks, a pack of toy cows aren't too expensive :) go for their juggular with a hobby knife ;)

I shall try.
Matt.

Wilco  lol  I'm working in 15mm though, so I'll have to wait to get my hands on the Pegasus boxed set or something.

Hey all, you've probably seen (and if you voted <3 ) this in the build something thread, but heres my new addition to Post Apocalyptia, the run down 9th District ;)

The cardboard forge was pretty simple, but the coals and LED lighting was a little trickier. I hid the batteries in the nearby shanty. The roof pops off so I can replace batteries and turn the forge on.

Thanks guys.

And: Yes, I DID vote for it.
It is gorgeous.

Thank you especially!

This is great the glowing coals are a master stroke. :-*

A stroke that's not mine, I shamelessly stole it from another contestant. :D

And due to the fact that I didn't have a resistor on hand, there is no resister just 2 LEDs wired directly to one battery each. This way they flicker out of sync.

It also means the roof is detachable, along with the forge so I can access the LEDs to replace them if they burn out. Though that will be a fiddly soldiering job  o_o

Cheers
Matt.

 lol

Have an old fax lying around or on the sidewalk?
The center spool is a paper roller
The gear from the internal gizmos
The 68 is a tamiya sprue number tab
some styrene rod
And a bracket below the number is some other bit,

Not a very helpful "wee bastiche" am I?!  >:D

Cheers
Matt

Hmmm, really.  We are getting ready to throw out the fax/copier at work.  Time to 'office space ' that baby and rummage the corpse for bits!

I picked up some scenery from an o gauge eBay seller. A pot stove (not used yet) anvils, vice, spanners and tools. They are nice and size well. And provide a little detail. I plan on building some other stuff and making a mold - but not yet.

The bottles are painted stretched sprue. They turned out ok for free.

Cheers
Matt.

Great scene all around.
