The Sentinel is looking good and is inspired. What bits did you use for the Webber?

I am storing this idea for future reference...  ;)
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

This is turning into a judicial army of epic proportions :)

Great work and the addition of the drone and Sentinel conversions is icing on a rather tasty cake :)

That sentinel is great.  It fits the concept really well.

The Sentinel is a very simple and smart conversion. It works out perfect!

Love this thread, and glad to see it back --- have you seen the W. Artel miniatures for Arbites?

He's working on some others including a cyber-bulldog, etc.

What a great thread. I've always loved the old 40k arbites.

I started to make my own about ten years ago with the plastic scout bodies and some pig iron production heads. The 'real' ones are cool though.

The Empirical absolutiond liquidation squad Foundry sell, sort of grandad to those models, are great in their own right in an old school way.

Thank you all! Designing this law enforcement tiny army is quite rewarding; finding small units that may fit in the vibe, like the Sentinel or the drone, is terribly fun. I'm really looking forward to seeing them on the board.

What bits did you use for the Webber?

The central piece is the heavy flamer that comes with the Sentinel. I just cut the igniter itself and replaced it with a cilinder shaped piece (I think it was a light from some vehicle). With some greenstuff I made the muzzle holes. It is pretty much that simple :).

have you seen the W. Artel miniatures for Arbites?

I've seen it, and it's gorgeous! For the moment I'm only planning another squad, though (I hope I'll finish it in the next few days). I think that only if GW released some new Arbites for Necromunda I'd consider getting new stuff (and this bloke would be definitely a purchase too!)

They are lovely too; I do have them, but I use them as local Bailiffs. They may have some jurisdiction issues with the Arbites, that would make a fun scenario ;D

You owe it to yourself to get the W Artel fig to lead your arbites. I got him on a whim, great service, wonderful casting and scales well with the originals.

This is on the hirizon now, I can't wait. Gonna build a little squad to bust the balls of the local gangbangers and genestealer cultists

This unit has required a lot of patience, years of failed attempts of building it, lurking eBay avoiding some ludicrous prices, some eventual greenstuff work... But I've finally come up with a full riot control squad. The base were, of course, the Necromunda Enforcers. Here you can see an example of the kind of conversion work needed:

While I had a couple of original power mauls, I had to improvise for the rest. Mainly from the Skitarii (Best. Bits. Box. Ever) or handmade...

The ten of them (plus a dog!)

So the full force looks like this:

- Three 10 men squads (one with shotguns, one with bolters, one with mauls & shields)
- Transport/detainee vehicle
- Arvus Lighter
- Sentinel
- Drone
- K9

OK, apart from a dog handler and a remote controler for the drone, I could happily declare this project closed. Well, that would be if you just hadn't pointed me towards those Artel W minis... :-*

Ahem.

For now, you can have a look at them on the blog too.
