Picked the rules up at Entoyment in Poole yesterday, had a quick flicck through and they look really good. One question, where can i pick up figures for demons and the like?

For Oni and goblins try Dixon. For a more diverse but more expensive range check out the kensei stuff.

If you are up for a bit of conversion Warhammer Ogres can make excellent Oni, there is even one dressed as a Ninja, and Reaper Bones Pathfinder Goblins make great Bakemono :)

Ciao,
I picked my copy 2 days ago, I've just read it but it looks good.
I liked the scenario creations system (something like "Fistful of kung fu") you can play it several times with different complications, the long list of magic/Ki/special actions available, the variuos "buntai" and the point sytem calculations, you can create your own favourite character easely as I did for IHMN squads.
I'm looking forward to play it, we're currently running a campaign with other rules, but I will vote for Daisho as next ruleset to try.
We tried Ronin months ago, buntai are ready and eager for some "chanbara" games!

Just a question: where can I find a QRS? Found on your blog.

Craig,
could you be so kind to explain me a thing from the characters profiles?
Some of them got magical or peculiar weapon and in the option/notes is written its cost.
I don't have here with me the book and I cannot be more precise about details.

Example (correct me if I'm wrong): "Sohei master" in  his profile owns a magical Bo and other weapons/abilities in the options below it's written that it costs 20pts.
The "standard" profile of 75pts already includes those points, so are these points to subtract if you decide not to use it?
Or viceversa are points to add to the 75pts if you decide to use this magical staff? I surely missed something somewhere in the rules.
Ciao

Hi Filippo,

Master Hibiki is 86 points including the magical Bo. If you do not wish him to use this weapon subtract the 20 points.
Note that he can also have up tp 20 points of magical powers and you must add the points cost of these to his base 86 points.
I hope that helps.
Cheers,
Craig
