I've got a bit further with the vehicles... the rear shape has been bulked out and next up will be a 'filling and sanding' day (or two). Here's the progress:

This five will all be the same: Heavy flamer at the front, Autocannon in the turret on the top, six lasguns and smoke launchers.

I normally buy packs of A4 sized sheets from Antenocity's Workshop... but they ran out so I have had to resort to EBay. I use quite a lot but most of that is as a result of 'designing as I go' rather than having set plans before I start... it is wasteful and I build too many layers into the vehicle that don't need to be there. But I don't mind because I can probably build a vehicle with two sheets of plasticard (not including details/running gear etc) and that has a base cost of less than £2.00 so it is a pretty cheap way of building vehicles (until you start spending too much money on the wheels/turrets/hatches etc.)

Well it would appear that as a result of a side project, I have begun to work on the main event again... here's the army standard bearer (minus the flag):



I may revisit him a bit later but I am just happy to have his arms finished so he is complete... but may get some extra details at a later date (he IS part of the command squad, after all).
