Playing in games of that size with that many participants was an amazing experience; at times awesome, frustrating and all great fun.

Agreed, Ragnar the Stationary, a great weekend all around. Except for that traitorous wanna-be Spartan of course, but I’d best not embarrass him in his own thread.

Wanna Be spartan?

How many times did you get Zena killed?  Besides Ragnar the Inert spent more time counting daisy's while my lads actually got stuck in....

I have a primary resource that shows what the Spartans got up to :

Thats Ragnar on the left BTW  ;D

I always admired people that could keep on painting a specific theme for a prolonged period of time and your collection is awe inspiring!
You must be proud! I just hope to find the motivation one day and do the same thing!

looking forward to the spartans!

Hi all,

Its been a long while since my last update and as I mentioned I was working on my first unit of Spartans and here they are. Pretty happy with the outcome, and I did do my take on the idea of Spartans.

Hope you like them

Cheers
JP

Rather nice, those! Another top-notch unit for your very impressive Hellenes.

They look superb, I was toying with the idea of mixing white and bronze faced shields, but bottled it... looking at those I wish I'd had the courage of mi' convictions!
