Thank you Verd and Rumcara. I haven't painted any more terrain lately, but it's on my mind a lot.
Update time. Feels like I haven't made an update in forever. First up I have a minor character from Star Wars.

The Darth Vader figure comes in the Imperial Assault box game. Not a bad figure, but something about the head looks wrong to me. I replaced the blade with brass rod, which I do with all my lightsabre blades. Well, not the WEG ones. Those aren't as bendy and out of control as the plastics and such.
Speaking of Lightsabres, I have a pair of Jedi characters from the metal WOTC line.

These were originally painted years ago, but I had to touch them up a lot to bring them up to snuff. The blades were replaced on these as well.
Here are two of the hero figures from the Imperial Assault box, Gaarkhan the Wookie and Mak Eshka-rey the Bothan Saboteur.
The bothan came out really nicely. I wasn't sure about him till I put the last dot in his eyes. Now I'm pretty darn happy with him. The wookie is suffering from shiny wash syndrome. I've given it a blast of dull coat which helped. I'm hoping a second blast will tone the shine down some more. Darth could use a second blast too.
Next up, the Nexu from the Imperial Assault box

With bases

Without bases
I worked on these figures for weeks. I even re-painted the second one because I wasn't sure the fur were coming out light enough.
So what do you guys think? Should I add the bases to the Nexu, or leave the bases off?
And finally a model I painted a while ago, purely to serve as terrain.

It's one of the pre-painted X-Wing models that came out a few years ago. I weathered it quite a lot, and added details to the cockpit. I took a shot with some I.A. stormtroopers to show how well it matches for scale. It's not screen accurate scale, but it works for a miniatures game.
That's it for now.
Raxxus, I'm sorry I forgot to get those scale shots taken. I'll try to get that done soon.
