Well, both Bones 1 and 2 have gone over 3 mil in the end.  Bones 2 raised just under 1 mil in the first day.  Looks like they are on par I guess?

Something's gone wrong. I've refreshed the screen twice and the numbers haven't changed!
So many projects..... so little time.......

600K not too bad so far...I'm still not interested in the main pledge, but definitely going to go in on a few of the Frost Giants on my buddy's pledge.

Hm, would anyone know if those minis seen in 'Heroes I' are available in metal?

I really have no idea what I'm doing.

Speaking of large figures, this ain't too bad for ten bucks!  :o

$850K Stonehengalike unlocked! $15
$890K Small Bases!
$925K Ogres!
$1M Paint Set B. Good set, especially if you're starting out. $20 for 12 paints.
$1M Lady on dragon. $10.

Update 10: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1513061270/reaper-miniatures-bones-3-the-search-for-mr-bones/posts/1288206

I'm in it for the crazy variety and overall value. I'm pretty much an "advanced tabletop" painter, so the miniatures fit my skill level. I have the Stephanie Law Darksword Miniatures, but it's going to be a *long* time before I have the skill to paint those miniatures!

Wow, those Ogres and Lady K on a dragon are lovely! I wonder if they'll be in metal at any point...?

I was looking forward to this but so far I am not excited by the products.

I should point out that I bought several items from Bones 1 at retail and I also bought a lot of stuff in the Bones 2 Kickstarter.

I already have enough adventurers, animals, bugbears, dragons, goblins, gnolls, kobolds, orcs, trolls and assorted random monsters to keep me happy.

I will keep watching but, at the moment, I think that I will buy the few bits that I want at retail, when they are available

Not EU friendly - I will pass. Don't want to pay another 100$ for taxes and customs.

Yeah... I don't want to be rude but I wonder if the US citizens ever pay taxes and other fees when they order from abroad... It's one thing to pay for postage but it's quite maddening to have to pay taxes and "other fees" to actually get your parcel from the delivery company.

A lot of US companies, and peoples, I bought figures from don't seem to understand why I ask to keep the size and weight of the boxes they send down... Bigger, heavier parcels seem to get more attention from our postal services and are more likely to be hit with extras, customs or "varied" fees.

Sorry, rant out!

lol
A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://tistaminis.com/

At least two of the gres are available in metal, but they are $20 a piece so $6 for three is essentially 10% the metal price (if you can suffer bones material that is).
Not sure about the dragon, I'll be getting extra ogres though!

Those are all new "direct to bones" figures.

Nope, we get the benefit...ordering stuff from abroad is cheap.  However, to send stuff abroad...our postal service (and other options) are maddeningly expensive.  To ship a small parcel to the UK is at minimum $25 (maybe more).  God forbid anything larger.  You're just hosed.  They've pretty much intentionally jacked up prices beyond belief to kill the market.

Meanwhile UPS/Fedex can ship companies materials pretty reasonably.  If you walk into a UPS/Fedex store and want to ship abroad, get ready to take out a bank loan.  They've zero interest in the average consumer's business.
