Whats better than brilliant? (my earlier statement) Fantastic perhaps? ;D

You're too kind Nick! ;)

Oh man, you never disappoint!   :-* :-*

Thanks Verd! I wouldn't want to ket you down! ;)

Here's the final pics before it gets a splash of paint. I'm thinking of doing it in a kinda grey, washed out look.

Edit:
I forgot to add a picture of the figurehead that looks as is she's been suprised and run over by the ship!

Really great work! Like the result very much.

I don`t know if you are already planning it, but while watching yout pictures I got the feeling, that the rear railing looks a bit "empty" on Top. Lots of old ships had this cool Lantern on the backside of the bridge which would look great to the overall look of this model.A second remarkable thing on ships are the bells. Maybe a demonic ghosty version of such a bell would looks great!

Something like this:

Too bad you don't have more time. It would be cool to try and hide the supports with some sort of fake lightning/electrical crackle effect.

Yep, outstanding! ;D

Thanks yet again Nick! ;)

Thanks Deltadog! I did have one, half made, but i didn't like how it turned out. If i get more time I'll make a new one with skulls and stuff over it. The bells diffinately a great idea too!

It's got a name plate has it got a name?

DAM IT! If I'd thought about it, i could've had a name plate and a plate to say what port it's from. It could've been "Ghost Ship" from "The Isle of Wight".......get it?.......wight?...ghost?.......Dam, I'm wasted being an electrician! ;)

Too bad you don't have more time. It would be cool to try and hide the supports with some sort of fake lightning/electrical crackle effect.

Nae worries mate! The plan is to use cotton wool around the base to make it look like the ship is coming out of the fog. The supports will be hidden.

It's a great idea and well done.If I'm honest,I wouldn't have based it like that(only because I wouldn't have thought of it,I wish I had though)
Look forward to seeing it in paint.
Mark.
