You might also like the Fistful of Lead rules.
A very biased suggestion on my part.

I will take a good look, thanks, BaronVonJ. Always open to buying a new set of rules!  ;)

That's what we use. They make for a very entertaining game. I'd highly recommend them. I also picked up the special card deck, which although isn't required as a normal deck will do, it is very nice. Having the cards marked up with their bonuses is very useful for the players. For what it costs for a pdf ofFistful of Lead Reloaded you can't really go wrong.

Nice build and a neat backdrop.  Thanks for the link. Went and bought one myself.

Thanks, Hu Rhu. Yes, that backdrop was a lucky find, I'm very pleased with the effect.

I started work on the town's Blacksmiths today. Just a bit of a WIP here, I've added some floorboards to the workshop and started a fire in the forge!

Thanks, Elbows.

I bought the Foundry set of Blacksmiths for my town. As they come with knee britches, I've used greenstuff to make their trousers. I've nearly finished the forge, just got to paint the rest of the building!

Sorry to tell you that you won´t forge well with a log fire. You´d better take coke or coal instead!

Good point, Michi. I've got some coal I could've used as well!   :'(  Never mind, these guys are obviously novice Blacksmiths! Still, I've got the forge that comes with the set as well, I think that must be fired with coke or coal.  :)

Thanks, Monkey. The floorboards are made from coffee stirrers.

Wow great thread, the town is looking great.  What size board are you using for the town?  Also what software did you use to create the character cards?

Thanks, Quendil. At the moment the town is on a 6' by 3' table in my painting room. Eventually, I think I may transfer it to some 4' by 2' boards so I can store it. I also want to build a mine area on one board. The cards were created on MS Publisher, happy to e-mail you one if you use Publisher?
