That's a substantial build there.  You never do things by half do you!  8)

If all else fails you could use it as a piece of wall art. ;)  (that may actually be the best way to store it?)

I have been known to get carried away...now and again

 :D

Not a bad shout on hanging it on the wall, although I'm a bit short of wall space, due to all the "stuff" already on the wall....

Well....I think it's finished....although I'm waiting on the base....and I might want to add a bit more when I look at it again tomorrow....

That is quite a part count!

Looks good too, can't wait to see the finished painted product in a couple of weeks.

Pretty incredible stuff man. I'd love to see it on a table with lights going and what have you.

Thanks all - now it's going to be a race against time to get it painted - working away loads, the next couple of weeks.

Ok, so not finished just yet after all

 ;D

Given the theme is flight, I thought I'd better add some ships for the hangar bays....

I think I'm in safe ground that I'll be below the max 25% commercial limit as they are tiny - Shapeways tie fighters and shuttles.

I won't attach them just yet, as its easier to prime them before they are glued on, but I couldn't resist one photo.

Is it wrong to want to add a tiny Darth Vader, reviewing the progress...at this scale he'd be a grain of sand....?

A little fragment of cracked black pepper ought to do the trick ;)

I expect full articulation and a lit lightsaber.  ;D

A grain of burnt black plastic would be an artistic touch. I hope you get this painted in time - it's 'uge!

Oh wow, this is immense AKULA!

Excellent work, and I wholeheartedly support the idea of including ol' Darth. Perhaps you could use a bit of optical fiber to give your black speck of sand a glowing lightsaber?  :D

Brilliant,  absolutely brilliant. The ships just finish it off nicely.
