Thanks everyone....apart from Damas and AWOL - No, I won't be lighting up Darth Vaders light sabre !!!!!

 

Possibly the least exciting update yet.... I've got the base sorted.

I went with a frosted glass effect piece of acrylic, the idea being to give the impression of the force field that the space station acts as the gateway for during Rogue One.



It doesn't work quite as well on a black tablecloth, but I may end up having a planet image below it during games.



I just need to add the rods which the space station will sit on.....oh, and get on and prime it.

I was happy enough with the little transports being suck onto the gate.

Now it has a shield no less?! Might as well get lasers in there too.
