The part I find the hardest is when you go to vote, and you find you can't actually justify voting for your own picture over the opposition...

I voted for my opposition more than once over the years :)

Interesting concept. Most sports don't consider actively helping the opposition to win to be good sportsmanship. In cricket it is usually a one-way ticket to a lifetime ban, and in some cases a prison sentence. :)

But then again those Asian betting syndicates haven't got their claws into the LPL. Yet. Yeah, it isn't quite the same. lol

WOW! yes there are some dam fine painters hanging around here! I unfortunately have not been following the LPL much over the last few years (life, work, mini painting, dogs, 2nd job as a secret agent for the Illuminati) and when I made the somewhat snap decision to enter put off taking pictures until a few days before the deadline. I did what I thought was a pretty good job with some of me recent work.....oh boy the bar has been raised around here!!! :o The pressure last night on the painting table was high! I was paired against the talented "Dr Mathias" in round one, "ouch! teacher may I have another!" glad that's over! :'( lol

Surely the man means 'good' as in 'profitable'.

As every year, I think that a few of the contestants really should be in a league of their own, the way they smash the opposition...

Round 2 is now open for your votes  :)

Please note that from this round (2) onwards, we'll be closing the voting at the end of the Friday following the start of the round in question.

This is to allow enough time on the Saturday to work out the standings and thus the match pairings for the subsequent round, and then to set up all the matches. (Without having to do all that first thing on a Sunday morning!)

So basically, voting on each round will now be open for 6 days instead of 7.

Both of the Round starting emails I've had so far have been blank. Are they supposed to be?  :D

I'm sure they're not!

Are you on Hotmail? Apparently there's some kind of spam filter problem affecting LAF notifications to Hotmail accounts...
