You owe it to yourself to get the W Artel fig to lead your arbites. I got him on a whim, great service, wonderful casting and scales well with the originals.

This is on the hirizon now, I can't wait. Gonna build a little squad to bust the balls of the local gangbangers and genestealer cultists

The Artel W minis looks ace.

I have read some reviews where the size of the minis was criticized however - people claiming they stand on 20mm bases and are significantly smaller than GW's Catachans. Can anyone who owns them post a shot with a comparison? Or measure their size?

I'd be really interested to see how well they scale with "smaller" scales; i.e. I'm really looking for 20mm ("Dark Future") Judges that work with matchbox cars.

If these are 20mm bases (in the render), then the minis themselves are closer to 32mm I reckon?
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

Yeah, those are normal Warhammer scaled, so heroic 28/32mm, and would dwarf a normal Matchbox car - not anywhere near 20mm size.

Thanks. So it was probably a hoax caused by the more realistically proportioned Artel W minis, I guess.

Measuring the ones in front of me you're looking at a range of 30-34mm for regular humans. They're a bit thinner than the Catachans. Since the Catachans are high G Deathworlders referred to as "baby Ogryns" that's not too bad. There's a bit of variance in the Artel size which to me seems in the range of normal humans. Nice, multipart and a good match for GW humans.

I've found these comparison shots:

They look slightly larger than regular 40K minis, definitely closer to the 32 than to the 28mm. Anyway, as almost all their ranges are 40K proxies, one would think they should scale nicely along them :? ???

I've not got my hands on any of their figures yet (the order's in the post), but I believe the small figure thing may have arisen from their first lady Inquisitor, who is a bit on the small side.  As best I can gather, all their newer stuff is well-scaled for GW compatibility.
