Nicely done. Did you blow a hair dryer across the surface as it was drying?

No I didn't - the water surface texture was added before the basin was painted. I used filler and acrylic medium to get the ripple effect.

The Kerr Stuart Geared Steam Locomotive No. 4412

The model was scratch-built from plastic card and runs on a modified Hornby 'Smokey Joe' chassis.

That scene with the animals in place looks amazing!

If you have trouble tracking down more suitably sized wildlife, I will sound like a broken record, but the Lemax range has some in about 1/28th scale.

Here are a few I have repainted for use with 1/28-1/30 figures:

Forgot to add, the Robin Hood figures shown are the same size as the casts of your sculpts that you sold me.

Those are 28mm figures????

Wow, they look like 54mm.

"Those are 28mm figures????

I think you will find that they are 66mm tall or 1:27.7 scale.

I was thrown off because white knight mentioned he'd repainted the animals to work with 30mm minis. On a quick scroll-through the rabbits, squirrels, and fox all seem to match the Robin Hood figures in scale.

So I suppose WK is just using them with 30mm figures even though they will be quite large in comparison. Unless he's only using the deer.

Just a bit of confusion then!
