The Wrath of Kings Celestial Host has both elephant and snake guys, but maybe they're too civilized? I haven't read the rules yet.

That's a very cool figure, (with a don't mess with me attitude! )... but dang, the price.

I'm gonna be using the Yogah mini from Conan which is now available at retail. Most of my bestiary pool comes from the piles of KS minis I need a reason to paint (in fact, so does my warbands)

I don't have the rulebook yet. Is it essential that they be elephants? I already have a large rhino-based figure who's a bit too underdressed for Felstad, but would be right at home in the GA setting.

I just have the rules (e-book format) and like what I’ve read so far and think it will be a fun game.

I'm using Pterro Men from Forge of Ice instead of the elephant men. Both because they are cool, and being able to fly will add an extra level of complication for the players.

Lots of love here.... I need to find some nicely scaled.. small 28 mm ships.... I love Frostgrave, but for me.. island terrain is easy to set up.

Not had time is the simple answer.

Other than a solo game to try out the rules, JOP is not yet lured in, another mate is not in the "game zone" currently, and another is prepping for his wife to undergo major surgery (they're doing power of attorney in case she is incapacitated).

Also, most of my jungle terrain is in storage. :-(

The solo game, figures and rules look really good though. :-)

Oh, and as SpectSpidey has commented before, one of the treasure tokens has to be placed in the centre of the table, so no gamesmanship can alter the race for that item ! :-D

I dont think they have to be 'funts.  They are described as a cross between man and elephant, 10-14 feet in height.

In random creature encounters, there are two entries on the table, for either one or two to show up.

There is one scenario where a max of two of them (one per player) can be on table.

For now I will be using these Reaper Bones figures from KS3.

I decided to make things difficult for myself and bought three lovely armoured elephant heads from Aventine Miniatures with the plan to sculpt the rest of the body. Might need to source some weapons. I do love the idea of elephant people though.

That gives me an idea - I need to check my 15mm stock of ancient/medieval elephants - there may be some heads there that I could use... have to figure out what 28mm body might be suitable.

I am thinking about replacing several of the monsters on the random encounters list. I bought an elephant from Northstar during the Nickstarter and I really want to include this rhino from Arena Rex



I think the velicoraptors are going to become lions.

I am planning on using an all Asian crew but I have to get some paint on them. I am having a bit of trouble picking just ten. Here's some of the contenders.

Until I get them painted I will probably use my existing Frostgrave warband.
