Great figures, your painting really gets the best out of them! I like the idea of 1/72 for skirmish games (and bigger battles, too), the size of the models makes the tabletop feel more roomy but rules work as written (vs 15mm, where I would use modified ranges and move distances). Something in the perceived figure to ground scale. Anyway, yours look great!

Speaking of "feel more roomy", yesterday I played Tor Varden:

I feel that nothing needs to changed when downscaling from 28 to 20mm but yes they look better and it is less jammed. Thanks for your kind comment. :)

Yes! the scale is perfect to play small skirmishes seated, and everything fits in a couple of boxes. Cheers,

Blacksmith, your trolls are awesome! The printing process is amazing in terms of getting them to scale nicely with the rest of the collection, and your paint-job is superb. Your buddy with the 3D printer has done a great job. Was it hard to find and scale the files?

Thank you MM! I don't search for the files so I can't really tell you. Basically, I ask him if he can find something I want and sometimes it's yes. For example, he had all the Troll files but only two of the Ogres which are the ones I painted.
Regarding downscaling, I think it is something very easy to do by just printing them smaller; I think it is something like at 76% their original size, but again this is stuff the person who prints does, not me  :)
Cheers,

You've lost me? The fellowship characters are 3d printed. I was asking where they came from or if they were scaled down  by how much
