Full size Gundam

One of the oddest things I saw in Japan last year was a full size Gundam, built on an island in Tokyo Harbour.

If by oddest you mean awesomest! Didn't they put up another giant robo in Japan in recent months?

You know that means they are going to fight now.

Don't you just love the Japanese.

They are developing power suits and walkers at the moment and you know thay are going make them look like this eventually   

I've been to the Gundam museum and went up in a sissor lift next to a full upper body of one (even wearing the uniform, which was a bit too small  ), sad, but what the hell   

There were some beautiful models there though

Yeah, I want to say it was a life-sized Gigantor, or one of the other three million Gigantor-like robots out there.

We ran out of time to go to the museum, but we did find a two storey Gundam shop in Osaka.  They removed a lot of money from my son while he was in there.  Damn, those kits take up a lot of room in your case.

  They certainly do, but at least they are light and if you're clever you can fit several into one box  (I'll probably never get round to making most of them anyway  )
