This is bringing back painful memories of my first year architecture courses... Since then (and after drawing about 6000 single bricks) I have no patience any more to draw or trace single stones! That increases my respect for this a thousand fold... which breaks my respect calculator.

Had a bit of a busy week last week and didn't get a lot done.
The Chimneys are complete and I've got the templates done for the roof. It needs tiles adding and trimmed back to size.
I've also put an alley through the building with a rear door to the pub.

A close up of the alley way and rear door.

Oh well, better start on the roof tiles.........

Yep, the alley is an improvement. Not that there's anything wrong with it in the first place! Looking good PM.

Where are you sourcing your RATIO windows?

The plastic windows by RATIO come with an ornate frame. I found it made the windows a little bit too big if I used them (The windows are O scale). The top of the frame however makes a reasonable top for a dormer style window. I just snipped it off and stuck it on the top of the window. It also gives a good guide for the sloped dormer roof.
I'll post a close up pic shortly.

Thanks Thunderchicken, my wife who happened to come up with the idea, thinks it's an improvement aswell....

Well good to see you up and at it again matey, this has taken shape very nicely indeed.

Plans for a full Victorian gaming area I take it? East end and the docks would make for a great playing area. From victorian revenant hunting to cthulhu and back again.

Look forward to seeing more.

I could understand wanting to do the roof tiles by hand but could save some time by getting some textures styrene sheet from Plastruct or some other company. Awesome job so far. Can't wait to see this with some paint on it.
