Apart from pictures, I now finished 3 `tactical` rounds, namely round 1, 3 and 6.

Why?

Round 1: to be safe for entry into the League this year
Round 3: the weekend our club is hosting the annual ACW mega battle weekend
Round 6: the weekend I`m in London for some tiny wargame show called Salute or something  lol

No need to apologize. I'll be busy with school finals from March to the ende of May. So I'm happy for every little model I can finish before that time...

Have I lost yet?  I've painted nothing since this was announced.  It is too bad more of my 'projects' don't fit the requirement, but I thought of some non-combatants that got thrown into a trade in about 1996...  No I don't remember who manufactured or sculpted them, supposedly they ware rare and valuable.   lol

Don't forget Muskie, you can enter anything in any round. You'll miss out on 10 bonus points, that's all.´

I'm still worried I won't be able to finish the round 1 minis in time... =( One guy done, one half done and three awaiting paint.

Got another team half finished, and the round 10 minis in hand now. Also have some filler teams ready to paint which will be faster to do than the round 1 guys. Oh boy... I'm too slow for something like this.

I think I'll enter some old minis too, on the rounds where I can not get something new. Just to break repetition at least and have 10 distinct entries.

Finally! I'm now certain I'm going to be able to take part! Round One - done (except for a backdrop for the photo). Round Two - done. Round Three - OK, not done, but I have to convert a few of the models, and they'll be done pretty quickly after that. Round Four - OK, same as Round Five, but with only one conversion. But I'm getting there. Now all I have to do is learn how to photograph miniatures and keep/crop them to the required size for the competition. You may be hearing more from me as I wrestle with the camera in a couple of weeks.
Looking forward to this now!
p.s. Need to learn how to paint pinstripes and plaid as well - that's the tough part!

I think I can do this!

For my civilians group, I have a bunch of hostages. Would it be permissible to do 1 armed guard as long as I have 5 unarmed captives?

Otherwise it looks like they are just out for a stroll.

Yep. Providing you have your team of at least 5 figures that meet the theme, additional figures that do not meet the theme are included at your discretion.

I'm buying a camera this Saturday. If I can figure out how it works I'm in. ;)

I started work on Round One.  I hope to have them finished by the end of the weekend.  I also hope to get round two done in short order.  After that it will likely be that I'll only get a couple more teams done.  I'll just have to rely on my charisma to charm the voters.  ;-)

Hooray!

I have almost got my first team done!

It might end up being my only team but still!

... Oh I still have to base them up :(

Saving the last bullet... just in case.

I’ve got 60 figures "almost done" by now most of them will appear in the LPL (or at least that’s the plan). I’ll just need to paint the backdrop for round 1 and set a small place to take pictures (if I’m ever going to achieve taking proper pictures ;) )

I have round 1 just about done, not bad as I only started these on Saturday. I have 4 other rounds done but I'm way behind schedule as i have to get everything except round 10 before I leave for the UK for Salute week. I get back to NZ on the Tuesday before the final round so i might not have anything new for that. The African contingent hasn't even arrived yet :(

Rounds 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 are finished and ready to take a picture. All other rounds (except round 10) are in undercoat stage, best get my ... euhm ... backside in gear to get that round 1 done.
