More on the main vessel, The Odysseus:

Each module is 2' long - 5 planned currently, plus the two flight pods (which are each 6' long).

Module 1 - Forward Cargo Hold/Airlock

AT-43 containers and a Fenris 1/55th Humvee for scale purposes.

Will probably kit this section out for refugees, with partitions etc.  On the left is a walkway.

Module 2 - CIC/Officers Quarters

The resin items aren't stuck down yet - juet been playing around with what i've got, and what i need more of - a mix of Fenris/Ainsty/G.O.T.

Module 3 - MedBay/Research Lab/Weapons Locker/Pilots Briefing Room/Pilots Quarters

Nothing stuck down, just working out layouts currently - will paint the resin separately.

Module 3 - Pilots Quarters

Ainsty resin

The central corridor is slightly raised, so the wiring from the CIC can run underneath.

Module 4 will be Living Quarters, and some sort of rest/bar area.
Module 5 will be Engineering/Aux.Damage Control and probably another Weapons Locker.

Alongside the main vessel, i'm also working upon a smaller civilian freighter.

This is based around a captain scarlet toy, I bought from a fellow frother.

Its c22" in length, so still a decent size, but crucially the flight decks both lift off, to reveal enough space inside for 28mm figures.

I've removed a lot of the external bits i didn't need (bloody thing was held together by a million screws), and started laying out the interior.

Plenty of room for 6 Ainsty Bunks, so with triple shifts that makes a crew of 18, not that it needs that many.

Control panels are Armor cast (?)

Once its finished, the bulk of the upper structure will be hidden under a dozen AT-43 crates

More Colonial Fleet Marines:

Empress US Modern's with trimmed down weapons, Hasslefree Heads & TAG Goggled helmets, Fenris bases.

Have just ordered some of the TAG SWAT teams as they will fit in nicely with these.

More deck crew:

The first of the medics - all Hasslefree minis on Fenris bases - the Odysseus is going to have a decent medical team unlike the Galactica that seems to get away with a single Doctor + nurse.

I am so glad you are adding more to this project- I thought you might have gone a bit cold on the whole thing. This progress is amazing- I particullay like the piolets quarters- I can see these exactly in the TV series. The Civillian ship is cool too. I am tempted to try to get one myself for a scifi project I had in mind.

Keep it up- fantastic work as ususal.

Wow!  You have been busy.  I note that building the entire bleedin' Galactica isn't keeping you sufficiently occupied so you have to build other spaceship interiors too!

No chance of that, I tend to rotate the active project to keep things fresh - now i've made some decent progress on this, i'm going to spend the next 6 weeks on my Vietnam boards so that I can play a game with mates on them at the end of September...then back to BSG again

 lol

tbh, it seemed like a good opportunity to start on the freighter now that i've got a decent supply of resin interior pieces - the clincher was winning a crate load of AT-43 containers on ebay, to go on the top.
