Cool, thanks, and sorry for my apparent inability to read.

I've stripped and undercoated the old figurs that I had in mind for round 1, boy they were badly painted. I've even cleaned the flash and mold lines off this time lol

Just finished my Week 1 entry.  Feeling very old school at the moment.  Now on to the next entry.

Putting the finishing touches on Rounds 2, 3  and 4.  Round 1's minis haven't even shown up yet...

I have to admit that even though I'm miles ahead of where I was at this point last year, I'm less confident about being able to complete ten new entries.  I'm starting my Masters program sometime in the next couple months, so the available painting time is going to drop dramatically.

For anyone that has taken online classes before, when they say it should take 18 hours a week, how realistic is that?

Round 2 is done, Round 3 is almost done, and still waiting on the models for Round 1  :o
After that, I've done a model or two here and there for other rounds, but nothing systematic - I still think it's enough to convince me that I can do it this year! Couldn't take part last year because of health problems, and while I have a whole host of new health issues to contend with this year, none of them will stop me from painting (I hope...).
@Bobbo - what's the Master's in? I'm a college professor, and one of my graduate degrees (the latest one, an MFA in Creative Writing) I took online. It wasn't TOO bad, except for writing the dissertation, which took a LOT of time. Classes, reading, and studying probably took me a lot less than 18 hours a week, but now that I think about it, I did it part-time, over three years (rather than two).
Good luck with it, in any case!

Master of Information Systems.  Hearing that it took less than 18 hours a week is helpful.  I'll only be taking one class at a time, so maybe I'll have some free time during the week.

Better get painting...   :)

That will certainly make it a little less time consuming! Best of luck with it. For obvious reasons, I'm a firm believer in further education. Looking forward to seeing your entries in the LPL!

I've got no old lead, but I do have five teams ready.  They're bits of the same platoon, so I'll not win more than one round with them, but I have them.  Working now on two more unique teams.

1, 2, and 3 all ready, but my lighting issues just won't end! My 3rd lamp took a leap, and I'm just having the damnedest time getting a proper replacement! >:(

Soon enough! I'm gonna do it this year!

Almost finished the entry for week 1, but not happy with the color  :-[

No time to change this... onward to week 2 and 3 and in the meanwhile struggling with RL to give me more free time  ;)
Why aim for gold if you can get lead?

Team 1 and 2 are finished, and started Team 5. Things are moving smoother than expected, and I'm allready ahead of both last years total production and the LPL5 entries! Eat that, Captain Blood! ;)
