Haha...well kids have been good for the sleep deprivation part of the equation!  The issue is I'll be diving in 40degree water which just sucks the energy right out of you even with a dry suit...I'll be lucky if I can stay up past 9pm most days.  On the plus side it
Also  burns a lot of calories so I can eat like a horse while on the company dime! :)

Cheers,

Blue

I'm a fresh water guy...  ;) I'll be diving in Lake George right in the area where the siege of fort William Henry occurred....you may remember it from Last of the Mohicans.  But trust me... That mountain water is COLD this time of year!

Cold bug hit me this week and I'm not going to get my next batch of "Hungry Games" Splintered Light Miniatures done for this next round. Oh well. I have my emergency replacement team that I painted up for the League but put on hold. They'll have to try to hold the fort down until the bears, coyotes, opossums, prairie dogs and their compatriots arrive...

looking forward to the critters Mike!

I just sent off my picture for Round 7. I still have an emergency back up, and a few ideas for rounds 8 & 9.
I changed my mind on my round 10 and ordered some minis yesterday. I was going to be good and just work toward my already existing projects, but couldn't resist a new idea.
LPL has been a mixed blessing: I have made some progress on the lead mountain but I also got the old lead bug after round 1 and bought some old 80's citadel orks & orcs for sci-fi & fantasy skirmish.

Sent my pic in tonight. I've officially lost my lead time and it will be down to the wire from here on out :)

I've sent in all my minis since about end of March, unfortunately just 8 ones, so two "doublers". However, I am ancious, too, to see how they will fight for me!

Have to say again, that is much much for fun to be part of it!  :-*

thanks, best wishes and - good luck!  :-*

Hmm, it seems I won`t be able to get round 10 done though, my holiday has started to paint it (yaaaay) but the models are still stuck at Redoubt`s suplier after three months  :'(

Pity, cause the bonus points are all that`s saving my a** this year of total crashdown  lol

Well that's another one in!  Email sent at 12:00 on the dot with me having taken only the one image..... eek it was tight.  o_o

Top tip.... avoid flocking while varnish is still wet ...... valuable minutes were lost to teasing and picking with a cocktail stick and micro tweezers!  :'(

Good news is that as I managed to finish only half of what I planned to enter I can finalise the rest tomorrow and put them up next week, which will help what with it being Salute.  :D
My LAF Gallery is HERE
Minis (foot & mounted) finished in 2025 = 74
(2024 = 38; 2023 = 151; 2022 = 204; 2021 = 123; 2020 = ???)
