Sorry guys, didn't get my entry done in time, the paint is still drying as I type  o_o so the eggs will stay another week unless it's still possible to ask if my entry from round 5 can be put back.

Looking forward to tomorrows entries :)
Why aim for gold if you can get lead?

Well sadly I'm done. I've had my final two entries half finished on the painting table for the last four weeks and, despite not being at work for the whole time, haven't been able to add to them. They'll get done eventually, just not in time.
I had expected that they'd be done without a problem but sadly it turned out that sitting up at the painting table wasn't on the cards. I'm 'recovering' from a hernia repair and, whilst the hernia wasn't painful, the aftermath of the operation has been very unpleasant. It's all for the best apparently :) There's always next year.
I have one entry to come next week and that had better run till the end. Bit disappointing really.
Good luck to everyone else, it's been a great competition this year and I, like everyone else, have enjoyed seeing all the entries so far. I'm looking forward to the final rounds.

I'm 'recovering' from a hernia repair and, whilst the hernia wasn't painful, the aftermath of the operation has been very unpleasant.

Ouch!  :'(

Do get better soon!  :)

Of course... if the recovery is going too slowly... I recommend...

  T H E    J O S E    C U E R V O    C U R E

Here is how it works (though this is a closely guarded secret, so don't tell anybody about it):  8)

1. Buy a bottle of Jose Cuervo Gold, a bag of limes, some salt and a large bottle of tomato juice.
2. Have a light dinner and wait a couple hours to make sure you have digested it completely.    :-I
3. Slice up the limes and put them on a plate and hide the knife when complete. Place all the following ingredients next to the plate: bottle of Jose Cuervo Gold (of course... it's the cure!), a shot glass, a salt shaker, and the bottle of tomato juice with a glass (though the glass is optional, one can drink straight from the bottle if one chooses, it doesn't effect the curing process).  ;)
4. Beginning drinking the tequila using the "shot glass method." If you are unsure about the precise technique, remember... google is your friend.  :)
5. Intermix shots of tequila with shots of tomato juice. This is very important as unknown to most folks the addition of tomato juice with the tequila guarantees you will suffer no ill effects in the morning.  ::)
6. Continue drinking the tequila until the bottle is complete finished.

And that's it! Very simple! :D

You will notice about half way through the cure that recuperation begins to accelerate and by the time you finish the bottle all pain in the area of your hernia will have completely disappeared.

If by the next day complete recovering has not occurred repeat steps 1-6 the next evening.   o_o

I've used the cure on a number of occasions and I guarantee it works like magic!   >:D

Good luck and get better soon!  :)

Thanks for the well wishes. It's only my painting that's suffered. Since I've been sitting around I've had plenty of time to write and plan so I've completed two rules sets and planned out a number of builds and projects. Details will follow shortly of course :)
