I had the hope, that Prodos would remember their given promise. But this seems to be an illusion.

Would they send the stuff, if I wired them the cost of postage?

Nope, they already covered that. As it would be unfair to backers that don't have the means to pay extra for the postage to get a delivery, they won't consider it.
My guess : they try to hand 'em out at conventions as much as possible to save on postage costs and wiat for some profit from retail to be able to send out what they owe...

Am I right in thinking that they still don't have approval for a number of the models (ie the ones not on preorder)?

I still wait for the first wave like a lot here in germany. No more news in the block since 8. October. We all should wait until the end of December and then contact kickstarter to get our money back. When Rob Aldermans left Prodos it seems, that the last honest guy left. No Information, no delivery.
