krimso, a note about a step pyramid I saw this weekend at PetCo.  I don't know if New Jersey has Petco stores, but I stopped by one this weekend to see if there was anything interesting in their fish tank or reptile decor sections.  They had an Aztec style step pyramid.  It was $14.95 and seemed to be made of concrete.  It was in the reptile section.  It seemed to be to be of indefinite scale… could be used with 15mm/18mm or 25s.  I thought I would mention it to you because step pyramids aren't that easy to find.  Richard

Keep in mind that I didn't measure the one I saw, but I'd guess it was about 8 or 9 inches across the base and maybe about 6 inches tall.  It was a single color with only one small opening/square at the based.  It was also made of something like concrete so it might not do well in a water environment which could be why they had it in the reptile section rather than with the fish decor.  Sorry I can't be more helpful.  Richard

Nick, glad you like it.  I had a great time collecting, building, painting and planning its layouts.  When I organized the two tables, I hoped that I would produce a town with several different points of interest and activity.  The same was true of the dig site table.  The use of the interior settings allowed me to carry those points of interest to what I hoped would be more intense/"dramatic" levels.  It's been a lot of fun!  Thanks so much for writing.  Richard

I just saw that Foundry has put out their Egyptian Adventure line of figures.  I will be getting EAV522 (Egyptian Mummification).  Some of the others are unique enough to be of interest as well.
