No, no, no.  Not sky blue.  A stormy Arizona/New Mexico sky - much, much more colorful!

Thanks Ramirez, the bank was a building I made some time ago for my Pulp Alley games, glad you like it. It might fit in quite well for the Old West.

Nice one, chap

Definitely a fan, there may be a certain C. M. O. T. Dibbler opening a dry goods store in the town, shortly!

That would be a great idea! All I need is someone to paint it on the wall for me!

Watch a few episodes of Bob Ross' Joy of Painting and acquire a few brushes and tubes of artist's acrylics (student value pricing) and you'll be good to go.  You don't need to be Rembrandt, just get a sky up on that wall - and get a natural sponge to dab in your clouds, very effective method.  I await your results.  Whenever.

Excellent work!

Thanks, Dave. I will be trying out your excellent Pulp Alley rules in the Old West, it should work well, I think.

FifteensAway, I do like your suggestion and I think I will have a go. It will have to wait a while as I don't want to move the table (or everything that's stored underneath) at the moment. I'm interested in trying the sponge method for the clouds, not heard of that before.

Dead easy to do and looks great. I made my 'sky' for WW1 dogfights the same way... bit of white hardboard, then dab powder blue on it till yer satisfied.

;)

Thanks, yes, that might be the way to go, a piece of hardboard painted as the Arizona sky.

I love those adobe buildings.  I have to make some myself for cross genre projects.

Thanks, they are easy to make and, as you say, very useful for several different periods of gaming.

After a long while away due to RL issues, I had a Desmond at the site and sitting here applauding your efforts Lord Snapcase!!! Cracking painting and great background stories! When I first got into the hobby nine years ago, the old west was what sealed the deal. I also blame Mason  lol!!!

Now I want a Technicolour batrep with yarn spinning worthy of the tallest tale teller... or should that be teller of tall tales ;).
The most important thing in the hobby is that you're having FUN! Doesn't matter if you win or lose.

Great! I am really looking forward to seeing your Pulp Alley scenarios in the Old West.

When we started designing Pulp Alley, we used my Old West miniatures because we didn't have enough pulp minis. So Pulp Alley always has a bit of a Wild West feel to me.  ;)

Coming soon, I hope. Just waiting for the next building and then my first scenario "The Missing Pinkerton".
