Small spot of progress.
One of the three fuselage blocks in the finishing stage (before assembly and detailing) - the sealer I used for the gaps in the plasticard has sheared in some places, so I have some voids to fill.

(PS I know the poor old unfinished GS is too dark here, but this level of contrast brings the white block out better).
The other two blocks have been filled and one is in the finishing stage, the other still to be sanded down.

I have also made a start on the undercarriage:

The vertical grey parts come from an old HP inkjet printer.
The landing pads are card frame offcuts from a Sarissa model.
I included a grubby old keyboard key in the pic as it's what I used to link the pads to the vertical strut ends - the sight tilt of the key surface worked to my advantage.
They still need detailing.

Heh, I tend to put a shake of allspice into my coffee grounds when I am brewing a pot, though I have been known to use cinnamon or cloves instead.

I prefer cardamon in my coffee.

Great looking build, can't wait to see the finished result.

I meant t say in my thread, I used electric guitar strings for pipes mate, if that's any help? That and solder wire for cables. I heard someone, somewhere mention they used them for piping on their 28mm miniature sculpts and I bought some for that purpose. You should have seen my trying to explain to the guy behind the counter when he asked what kind of guitar I had!! :o I should have said a 28mm one, dam! :?

I know that feeling.
Trying to explain that I wanted to use it as cabling on small sculptures brought a very confused look to the bloke's face.
 :D

Anyway, if it helps just ask for the thickest bass wire that he has.
That should do ya.
 ;)

Hmm, maybe I should get all the strings and use them for a range of pipes and cables - you can never have enough  >:D (wondering how thick is the thickest bass wire now - I'm utterly ignorant on this matter)

I dont know too much myself.
Having bought a couple of sizes, I will see what the packs say about sizing and let you know.
