Workshop: Construction of the 'Ruins of Mordheim' modular table, part 18.

The last stage of construction was gluing the tiles that I cut out of balsa wood.

This module was quick and fun to build, and the large amount of space on different levels gives me hope that the game played on this part of the table will be interesting.

In the pictures below you can see what the finished module looks like, as well as the fragment of the table that I have managed to build so far.

Epic is the only adjective that comes to mind. You my good sir have mad skills. And a lot of patience. Thanks for sharing.

The latest module looks great - and good to see the whole table - it certainly will be epic when done.

Are you planning to build everything before painting? I’d be wanting to get playing on this!

Thank you. Yes, I want to build first and then paint it all at once.

Workshop: Construction of the 'Ruins of Mordheim' modular table, part 19.

It's not visible on the blog yet, but if you follow the Warheim FS page on FB, you already know that I built half of the Mordheim Ruins table.

As part of the break between building modules, inspired by the theme of the April MBC invented by Dziadu z Lasu, I decided to build a Monument of Chaos... Because first of all, as expected by the MBC host, no one is killing anyone here. Secondly, it will, of course, be painted in a grimdark style. And thirdly, I have not built a monument for over a year.

As in the case of mock-ups with the ruins of Mordheim, also in the case of the monument, many elements are still missing, such as a skull, globe or parchments, which will appear later at the stage of valorization of the entire table.

The monument, similarly to the ruins presented earlier, is equipped with several LEDs, which should color the model a bit after the painting is finished.

The model standing at the top of the monument is Kaz´Ar Khan, Black Heart from MOM Miniaturas, and the Marauders and Chaos Warriors shown below are models from GW, and at the bottom there are three Gargoyles, which, as far as Alzheimer is correct, I bought for several years ago from Mini Monsters, which until now have been quietly waiting for their turn, hidden in the darkness of the attic.

Workshop: Construction of the 'Ruins of Mordheim' modular table, part 20.

I started work on the fifth module, the base of which is the Mill from the Lasercut Building and the tower and ruins that I received from Karol.

The plaster elements, on the other hand, come from Rotten Factory.

In the first stage, I glued the plaster elements to the sides of the module and attached the mock-ups to the base.

Workshop: Construction of the 'Ruins of Mordheim' modular table, part 20.

The next step is to add more gypsum elements and lanterns valorised with resin elements from Alien Lab Miniatures.

Workshop: Construction of the 'Ruins of Mordheim' modular table, part 21.

I glued more resin elements from Alien Lab Miniatures to the ruins and covered the walls with plaster and cork bricks.

The faces in the wall are spooky!  8)

And I'm sure this has already been asked/mentioned, but I am assuming there will be some resin water in the canal?
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

This is an awesome project. I cannot wait to see it when it is all coloured in. It is going to be amazing.

Thank you very much. :)

Workshop: Construction of the 'Ruins of Mordheim' modular table, part 22.

It's time to pour the plaster and sculpt the pavement, I also added a manhole cover cut in HDF by Black Grom Studio.

Another spectacular update!  8)

I always especially enjoy the shots with the streetlights on; they really give the scenes an air of extra realism (even before painting).

Please keep it up!  :)

Workshop: Construction of the 'Ruins of Mordheim' modular table, part 23.

The penultimate step of working on the fifth module is to make a half-timbered wall on the walls, which I filled with gypsum plaster according to the guide I published HERE.
