Thanks! It took me an effort to paint again a big miniature after being painting only 1/72 models. And yes, as a proper Frost Gian he should be blue and wield an ice sword, but I didn't like it like that as I said.

Thank you Ben. I'd say that Frost Giants are blue, and normal, or in my case Norse, Giants are flesh tone.

I got distracted by other shiny things but I keep doing things in 1/72 for my LOTR project. This time it's some peasants that will suffer attacks from Orcs. I took this box of Crusader's transport from Strelets. I like their characteristic sculpting and unique poses.

That is a lovely set and I do like Strelets - you have certainly doen them justice must look into getting this set myself looks very useful for what could become a number of scenarios.

You can hit the varnish frost with another layer of the same varnish and it should be gone.

These Strelets travellers look brilliant (with your usual great painting), and I'm sure you'll be able to come up with some great scenarios and uses for them.

I'm very tempted to pick some up myself to add to the pile!

It looks as though the frosting only affected the base, so maybe you can paint over it again. The one time I had serious frosting problems on some miniatures (sprayed varnish too much and too close), I followed some advice on the internet and rubbed olive oil into the frosting with a cotton bud. This went quite a long way towards rescuing the paint jobs, and I've always been much more careful since then when varnishing.
