I'll get the shotgun.

Actually you highlighted a iffy bit, theres some runs on the ironpowder and they look a bit off putting, so i am re-working those bits to try and limit their visual impact.

I feel ashamed to have caused you further work from my cheap attempt at humor.

I assumed that they were to be fissures that just happened to have that effect on me.

Please forgive my thoughtlessness on your excellent work.

Mate, this was big enough to be a 2mm mini planet!!!

Imagine the size of the one you have made, but scale it up to 28mm, perhaps a little bigger. It was gargantuan.

Who me?

 ;D

My old art teacher bought me a ruddy huge paintbrush from Cornellison's of London. Awesome art materials shop. Definately my favourite. I painted a few rather large but very controversial media photographs. Don't ask, young stuff. Was rather silly.

The "Deployed" Asteroid:

This is how i think the game will be played (with the base sutibly painted up).

Yes, its a plant pot, and a bluming huge one. The pot will flip right side up and the asteroid sit in it for transporting.

Will give this configuration a go on friday.

Its the morning after the first practical test of the asteroid.

It was a technical sucess but a gameplay failure. I did get some pics, which i will post in a bit. But here are the main lessons learnt:

The Asteroid dose hold the infantry models without a problem.

The Caverly need bigger magnets or better basing, they stuck but only just. The cannon will have the same issue.

The tripod sticks too well, and is too big for the asteroid.

The flowerpot makes the whole thing too low, It works better on a table top.

GASLIGHT dose not work too well on such a small battle field. I may create my own rules for this game.

10 man squads are too big. 5-6 man squads will work better.

Theres proberbly more  but thats my inital thoughs.

But pics coming up soon
