Sad to hear about the setback in painting, but good to hear that the surgery went good. Wish you a good recovery and looking forward to seeing your (new) projects :)
Why aim for gold if you can get lead?

The time is now 6.00 am in the morning, I am off to Salute in two hours, and I have just had to pull an all-nighter to get Round 7 finished.
I'll be the one asleep under Jim Bibbly's stall lol

Saints alive. My Round 8 entry just submitted... I get finished a little closer to the deadline every week... this one was too close for comfort!

I didn't manage to finish my round 8 entry last night (which I also incidentally started last night). So this morning I shot a spare replacement team to do the honours. I will probably finish my week 8 entry for round 9 and I'll see if I can knock out something of a ship for round 10 8)

Since I've been sitting around I've had plenty of time to write and plan so I've completed two rules sets and planned out a number of builds and projects.

Way to make lemonade when life hands you lemons!  I've had a pretty nasty cold which set me back, but I'll take it over your hernia operation any day.  Get well soon.  The entry I was painting for Round 7 now appears in Round 8 -- photographed and submitted it Friday.  More Splintered Light Miniatures critters!

yeah? Ah shucks, missed by a day perhaps  :) Round nine is in an round ten is -almost- ready. Just a few brushstrokes and making the pictures.

Huh..okay. What are your projects now, now that LPL6 is over for you?

Me, I know my next steps (after LPL). I do have a box of Napoleonic French Infantry glaring unfriendly at me for a few weeks now, asking silently why there is still no color on them. And then there is my LotR Dio for round 5 to finish. Not that it makes a difference for my lpl, but with more breathing time I want to try a few things. Hopefully the result will be pleasing.
