The release of Shadow War: Armageddon earlier this year got me painting some Arbites.  I had been promising myself some Arbites since 1990, but never got around to them until last month.

Presenting the 21 Dump Street Precinct Patrol:

I kept the colour scheme fairly austere.   I already have a fair few Mega City Justice Department figures painted, so I wanted to have a visual distinction between them and their grimdark equivalents.

It was fun to finally get around to miniatures that I had been promising myself for so long.

More information here for anyone inclined.

Excellent work on them. You mentioned Shadow War, is there an Arbites Kill Team list floating around somewhere?

I have about sixty or so unpainted Arbites and Enforcers of every iteration GW made, its' one of my 'someday' dream projects.

The arbites look great Cheetor.

You could use the Scout Marine list for Arbites and just tack on Grenade Launchers under special weapons from the Guard list. But I bet there probably is a more tailored list out there.

Nice pjs Cheeter, they look the part. Did you take the decision to avoid skin colours on the chinsto further distnguish them from the MC1 judges?

Lovely eye candy. I unexpectedly like the idea of painting the Eagle on the Judge's helmet black. You can see it's still there but it doesn't draw too much attention. Cool.

Thanks for the feedback everyone.  The Arbites are popular old models for a few reasons I think, fun old classics.

Excellent work on them. You mentioned Shadow War, is there an Arbites Kill Team list floating around somewhere?

I have about sixty or so unpainted Arbites and Enforcers of every iteration GW made, its' one of my 'someday' dream projects.

As Audrey guessed, I used the Scout list as written to field these Dr Mathias.  I treated the grenade launcher as a missile launcher so that I could use the rules as written.

It has since been pointed out to me that they could be fielded as carapace armoured veteran guard ether, which I somehow missed as an option.

Here is a snap of some of the Patrol taking part in a SWA game at Warhammer World a fortnight ago.

Nice pjs Cheeter, they look the part. Did you take the decision to avoid skin colours on the chinsto further distnguish them from the MC1 judges?

I painted chin straps on the figures Hubbahubba.  I think that they are sculpted on, bit its certainly possible that I misread the figure.

The tiny bit of visible face on the models is actually painted, in a variety of dark and light skin tones.  It hasn't shown up due to my mediocre photo skills I think.

The eagle on the Proctors helmet is a bit too much for my tastes Suber, in this context at least.  It's very oberwaldian.

I decided to go for what a friend dubbed "the crow of command" in an effort to play it down a little.  It worked I think.

Excellent, thanks. The veteran list would work well I think.

Very cool scenic shots, the rocky bottom surface really pulls off an underhive look.
