Beautiful interior work. That row of lockers is great. You're not making it easy to concentrate on making buildings. I have this urge to dig out my corridors now, and I haven't worked on that in year.

I cannot wait to see more about this..

I have a question though.

The way you build the hallways, like in the movies where they are slanted inwards. From inside, it looks awesome, but from above and the side, it can somewhat to me, look really weird.

How does it feel to you, when you are looking at playing in the hallways?

HI all, still doing work on this as fancy takes me between multiple ongoing projects. Will try to post something soon.  As you may or may not know most of my stuff  was packed away during the winter. :(

@duckforceone: it does look different not much different than other modular layouts with walls and open areas between tiles.  The minis stay on the central corridor section and IIRC the walls are only 1.75inches high (I'm on a train at the moment) so you can see inside fairly well. There is purpose to the madness of having the slanting walls as that is where the ventilation ducts are slated to be and dropped in as needed.

Cheers

Been doing a bunch of little things plugging away at this project amongst other projects but nothing exciting enough to post then a few nights of insomnia...

My two not M577, not m522(Ebbles), not Caiman(Khurasan) inspired APCs are starting to take shape.

And a prototype for a Raptor inspired shuttle.

And a few rooms too; a long one and a square office complex.

Notice the nail heads placed in the floor strategically. This will allow me to place furniture items with rare earth magnets in the base and not have them move around too much (that's the theory but has not been tested with rigours of game play yet). Retrofitted all my existing rooms with them.

And the start of some drop in modules and as the rooms are standardized will fit in most rooms. Depending on orientation they can make smaller rooms within larger ones. A trauma bay, diagnostics lab, office, and service counter to start off with.

Cheers

Pretty inspirational stuff.  :-*  I like the look of the Aliens APC but I've just never been able to look past the (lack of) ground clearance. It would get stopped by your average shopping mall parking lot speed bump.  lol

Thanks all.

@Hupp n at em: That is one of the things which bother me too which is why it is inspired only. There will be enough clearance to go to Costco and get some groceries. The front turret and the front vision port will be different too; and doors on each side.

Thank goodness! I was worried there for a minute.  lol  In all seriousness it looks really promising and I'm excited to see it finished and painted up.  8)
