I think if the next plastic sprue is all cultists, it will have less utility and be less popular to the gaming community as a whole, than the Frostgrave Soldiers plastic sprue does/is. The latter can not only be mixed and matched successfully with other plastic kits, it can also be used in a large range of settings...a heap of cultist would be less so.

I'd prefer to see another set of plastic Frostgrave soldiers expanding on the first set.

I think its easy to underestimate the usefulness of plastic cultist models! Useable across so many systems, and people have been crying out for decent cultist models for years. I will be staggered if these don't do extremely well.

Actually now having seen more pictures I absolutely cannot wait for these to become available. Also screams Necromunda with some conversion work - being plastic that should be pretty viable. Simply cannot wait.

From Brueckenkopf Online:

Death cultists are mortal men and women who have sworn their service to an undead master, usually in the hope of achieving some form of immortality. They normally come from the lowest rung of society and have few useful skills and little combat training. What they lack in ability, however, they make up for in fanaticism and fearlessness in the face of death. When sent out by their masters, death cultists generally conceal their identities behind masks and hoods, but proclaim their allegiances by adorning themselves with bones, chains and other symbols of death.

It's the little things that make my day  :)

Hopefully these will look as good with female heads on as the first set did.

For sure, I'll definitely be on it as soon as I can get some  :D Might give them loony hairdos.

Some of the faces with hoods, such as the far left in the painted picture could be female as they are anyway  :)

Lovely kit, really excited.

I was looking at Tabletop Gaming News, and noticed that, aside from the first Nickstarter, there isn't much news on there for Frostgrave.

Figured I'd give a shout out, TTGN gets quite a bit of traffic, and sending them a quick message that something is out (be they models, books, Nickstarters or anything else) doesn't take very long but might tip some more folks over the edge.

So I saw the new Nickstarter page. Like what I see so far but need to see the new metal undead models before I decide what level to buy in at.

Yep, doesn't appear to be live yet. Clicking the order button goes to 'page not found'.

The spend goals look good and attainable and the deck of cards is great news.

Yeah, just had a look. I guess Nick is still finishing it as there seems to be some place holder images and so on (Ghoul King, Wraiths etc) although the pre-order special says it expires the 25th of September which is not far from now.

Not looked at the page yet but I do know the Ghoul King and Wraiths aren't finished sculpting yet so I doubt there will be any pics imminently.
