Wow, that is a lot of tiny bits! I cannot argue about the result, though, those floors look amazing already. I expect that when they are painted they will be  very eye-catching. I enjoy the updates!
Thanks! Building models gives me more fun than playing on them, that's why I can afford such a large number of small elements. ;)
I recommend the All-in-One Modulart Art Box – Ultra from KRYDRUFI, review HERE, shop LINK, discount code QUIDAM.

Workshop: Struttendorf, part 16.

It was time for the next stage of work on the building model from Kromlech.

After making the Prussian wall, it was time for the next elements. I placed the building model on a base cut out of styrodur, which I covered with clay bricks of different patterns. I also made the floor on the ground floor of the building to match the pattern on the first floor.

The buidling models currently looks as follows.

Nicely done!

That is amazingly well done, as always! By the time you?re done there will not be any outward sign of the MDF building?

As others have said, that's amazingly detailed work. Please keep us posted while you paint it.

Also, I'm glad I'm not alone in finding the building takes over from the actual gaming...

Thank you! Yes, it probably won't be visible that it was once MDF.

Workshop: Struttendorf, part 17.

The time has come for the next stage of work on the ruins from Kromlech.

I decided to place the ground-floor ruins of the ruin below on bases cut from styrodur that are a few centimetres long.

The idea is that this substantial manor house, originally built on a hill, was destroyed by a magical catastrophe that left fragments of walls and floors, and that the various islands were connected by footbridges and rope bridges.

I will write more about the construction of rope bridges and footbridges next week and in two weeks.

The ruins at the moment looks as follows.

Cool. I'm interested in how you fill out the in between parts, will it just be black paint or some sorcerous swirl?

the rubble looks too stacked and regular... but I like the idea, looking forward to see what you do.

This is a great way to add height and plausible reasons for bridges. Gorgeous execution, definitely stealing it.

Really cool idea for a gaming board, set-piece. I do not think I ever saw something quite like it.

The ruins are modular and will be placed on the play mat as needed, but it would be a good idea to have a dedicated base with lava, for example.

Yes, it's a compromise between realism and playability. You can place models on such blocks.

Today I invite you to my blog, where I wrote a guide on how to build rope bridges. You can find the link to the post HERE.
