That's an awesome integration of a plastic kit into your scratchbuilding work! I like it a lot, and it fits in perfectly. 8)

Warsztat: Budowa stołu modułowego 'Ruiny Mordheim', część 66.

The space between the plaster casts and the clay bricks was filled with bricks cut out of cork.

Workshop: Construction of the 'Ruins of Mordheim' modular table, part 67.

I'm slowly approaching the end, so it's time to pour the plaster and carve the cobblestones.

Awesome as always 8)

What is the square, recessed area in the courtyard, at the base of the tower?

Thank you very much. I don't know yet. An old cellar, the foundations of a demolished tower, or a swimming pool. ;) We'll see what will come out of it.

Very nice blending of various materials and techniques.

Workshop: Construction of the 'Ruins of Mordheim' modular table, part 68.

The last step is to fill the gaps with self-hardening clay and fill the gaps between the bark with plastic mass.

Last module finished. Now I will deal with the details, the moat bed and finally the preparation for painting.

Excellent!  8)

This question might have popped up before, but I can't be bothered to wade through all of the posts in your thread again (except for the eye candy, obviously), but have you thought about the storage of these modules? Theyre not exactly flat, so stacking them is out of the question...

True. It's what has been holding me back for years going ape on a thousand ambitious terrain projects...

My wife asks me these questions before I embark on another large scenery project. As a crafter, I know I am above such earthly matters as "storage" and "enough"

from some photos Quidam's posted before, he's effectively got his own private museum / display space in his gaff ... suspect storage space is not such an issue for him; hope that's the case anyway.

Thank you very much for your comments. :) I have a workshop in the attic and luckily there is still space for a modular table. ;)

Workshop: Construction of the 'Ruins of Mordheim' modular table, part 69.

The first entry starting the report from the construction of the modular table with the ruins of Mordheim for Warheim FS was published on the blog on October 21, 2021, the post can be found HERE.

In turn, a week ago, i.e. June 01, 2023, by publishing a photo of the last module, I completed the first stage of work on the table.

Of course, during these 20 months, I took breaks from time to time and, as a diversion, I also painted figurines that you can see on the blog on Wednesdays.

It would be difficult for me to focus only on the table and not lose my enthusiasm, anyway I managed to exceed the assumed time for the first stage of work by only 2 months. So that's how long it took me to paint the unfortunate Muszkieterów z Nuln.

As I wrote, I have completed the first stage of work and it's time to move on to the next ones.

Now I will focus on adding details, finishing the interiors and making the moat. Here it is difficult for me to estimate the time needed for this, but you can be sure that I will keep you updated on the progress.
