Glad you love the wagons - told ya!  They're absolutely tits.

While I'm "almost" done buying my Old West stuff (I have too much already!) your thread continues to inspire!

Thank you Elbows, these wagons are a must have really, and yes I struggle to stop buying more stuff. ;D

A western town really needs the gallows IMHO  ;)

I finally cleaned up some miniatures and started painting on the outlaws. The first three are finished and I found a little surprise in the bit box (inspirited by Digits cemetery).

I made up some rules for little Herman the Vulture:
If a miniature is wounded and comes within 1 inch of the Vulture role a D6.
On a roll of 1 the Vulture is attracted by the smell of blood and attacks. You suffer 1 wound.
On a roll of 6 the Vulture also attacks and he picks out an eye. For the rest of the game you have a -1 penalty fot shooting on the to hit chard.
On a roll of 2-5 the Vulture is startled by the sudden noise and flies away.

Groove51 and myself are also thinking about a weather list. Before beginning the game you have to roll on a weather chard with different types of weather. This is still under construction though.

Regards,
Za

Thank you very much, this is a really cool project, if I say so myself  8)

Hi

Yes please. Groove and I were just thinking about how cool it would be if a sandstorm would run through town, or very heavy rain :D. I just re-read the Bloodbowl weathers chart and it gave me some inspiration but I would like every input you guys can give me.

Great stuff!

I just couldn't get myself painting the outlaw gang and I wanted something easy to paint as a start and I remembered I own a "TombKing Screaming Catapult thinghy unit" with a vulture. I couldn't let that one pass. Although I have to admit I only remembered the vulture thanks to Digits graveyard (thanks about that  :D)

Ok. Vulture rules being added to my FfoL games.

:D Thanks for that. I just thought that the vulture needed some nice rules in the spirit of the rules you have on using civilians in the game. Groove51 and I really love your rules. It is the first game we played in many years in which we don't have arguments about the rules (which we usually solve with rolling a D6 and 1-3 would be option A an 4-6 would be option B). When in doubt we can manage with just some logic "what would they have done in real life..." .  They are straightforward, fun, open to your own tinkering, fast and easy. We played 4 games now and every time something nice and funny happened. We can play it now with only using the very good Quick reference sheet.

Za

Hi all,

A new small update. I must admit I had a little trouble pushing myself to get painting but I managed to paint another outlaw and his dog "Old Woofer". Rules for the dog will follow soon as are the weather rules.

What dog model did you use?  I'm trying to find one, as I'd also like a dog model involved...and perhaps wild coyotes/wolves.

It is a Black Scorpion Model actually. From the Tombstone 7 set. They don't seem to sell on their website though. I bought it as a metal set from Battlield Berlin a few weeks ago. Black Cat Bases also sell a lot of animals. They also do nice dogs.

Gotcha, yeah that set had the guitar player, the little boy etc?  Yeah I was going to buy it, but it disappeared.  Cool, just wondering.

Yeah a real nice set including a drunk cowboy. No idea why the set disappeared... I'm glad I found it though.
