Finally I got my figure painting mojo back (well sort off), so I finished a few civilians for a game coming up this weekend. The pictures were taken with to much light (they did get a coat of matt varnish, it just doesn't show :D)but I hope you like them anyway. C&C more them welcome.

I need a drink Ace...

Time is money...

I am eagerly waiting for my hotel to arrive, will post pictures as soon as it gets here,

Regards,
Za

As a Pinkerton player I'm not that impressed. The only thing I see is more civilians for the Mohawks and the outlaws to take hostage. lol Nice paintjob!

Thank you all for the kind remarks.

The mailman brought me some nice packages today. Some nice shingles from war-bases.co.uk. (cheap as hell but very nice and useful) So spend most of the day putting shingles onto my sloped roofs. Fiddly job but it really makes a difference, will take some pictures this week if I have time. I also received my Sarissa train station and corner hotel. The station is already put together and is patiently waiting for some paint  :D. The hotel is a really big kit and it looks like you need to have some patience to put it together  :( Which I lack. I will restrain myself and will finish the station first.

Oh and I can officially claim to be a owner of a cow herd of some 50 cows  o_o

Regards,

Za

I really like your paint work on the Undertaker but within the context of the Old West he really looks out of place. He would fit in much better in a 1920-1930 era pulp game. I think its that his coat is a little to short and he should be wearing a vest. He just looks to modern for my tastes. Still great work!

 lol

You are right, of course.
The problem is I want it for Strange Aeons!
(Guess it would have a dual purpose, though, so I it would be easier to justify a purchase.  :D)

Thank you very much Bullethead.

@Mason The Undertacker is perfectly sutible for Strange Aeons (BUY IT, BUY IT  :D)

I have been busy the last week with a lot of different things for Hickory Flat.

In the first place I finished another model.

Billy Bob

He is versatile because he can be used as an outlaw a bum or some poor cowboy.

Secondly I mentioned earlier that I bought some shingles from Warbases. I did the Undertaker with it and I like the finish. Much better than the lasered 2D effect that it had originally.

I also received my ERTL cows. I am halfway through filling my Corral. I just removed the worst flash and gave them a wash of Gerophone Sephia, or whatever it is called. (Mind you not all of the cows are finished in the pictures).

I also received my package from Sarissa with the Corner Hotel :D and the station. I restrained myself and started with the station (actually I am a bit scared of the Hotel. It is a big kit and very beautiful and I don't want to screw it up). I ran out of luck because I didn't buy enough shingles  >:( so one half of the main roof is without shingles... It is a very lovely kit.

And finally I have to use a bigger table for all of the buildings to fit. So I tinkered around today with a possible layout on a 2X4 table. The train is a 6 euro toy I just couldn't leave behind in the shop  ;) In the second picture is the ground-floor of the Corner Hotel.

As always C&C is more then welcome.

Well that is it for this week. Tomorrow (actually today  lol) Groove51 and myself will visit TooBooCoo to play one or two games of Fist Full of Lead. I will try to remember to take some pictures.

Regards,

Za
