Brilliant stuff - newest addition included. Love the Raccoon (sorry - Wombat...). Very tempted to pick one up, particularly since there are a few more Bombshell miniatures that I have my eye on.

Comsquare - if you're having trouble getting that miniature in Europe, let me know. I don't mind adding an extra one if I make an order, and popping it in the post for you. Let me know by PM, if you like.

Beautiful painting, Paul. What I love is how cohesive all your groups look when you photograph them together, even though the models are all from different sources. It's down to your painting and basing, and it's not easy to do (although you make it look easy).

Wowie, those are awesome...as always 8). Love the bright colours and they all ooze so much character.

Your awesome paintjobs and reports made me buy heaps of Deadzone last week. Can't wait to do an Inquisitor/Rogue Trader version of Pulp Alley too! :D

Thanks for the kind encouragement folks :)

Regarding the Raccoon/Wombat.
Is there any european traer who sells him?

West Wind UK stock Bombshell Miniatures, but they are running a bit behind the US releases I think.  I bought Warfare Wombat from the US (to Ireland) during a discount promotion.  It wasnt cheap, but I wanted a wombat and some other things.

Great stuff! The oranges you have achieved really look good. :)

Im trying to improve my orange in such a way that it wont take me ages to paint.  I havent got a quick way to do it yet, but at least it looks decent enough, thats a start :)

Inquisitor/Rogue Trader via Pulp Alley is the most tabletop miniature fun that I have had for many years, I love it.  Make sure that you report back with details of how you get on.  With your painting and terrain its going to be a treat I am sure.

Re: Cheetors 28mm Inquisitor bands: Oathsworn Robot Drones 22/02/15
« Reply #169 on: 22 February 2015, 11:56:59 PM »
I decided to paint the drones that were supplied as part of a pre-Xmas Kickstarter from Oathsworn Miniatures to accompany a pair of my recent models in their next outing.

The drones got a pretty quick and straightforward paint job intended to echo the red-and-gunmetal look of the drones that feature in the Guardians of the Galaxy movie. The raccoon character that hangs out with the treeperson in that film is a techy type that hacks drones at a critical movie juncture, so I figured that painting up some robotic mooks to accompany their homages in my games would be appropriate.

The Oathsworn miniatures were nice to paint, simple without being too simplistic.  More details on the blog.  Painting them was a nice break from the terrain that I have been working on.

Most excellent. Your basing is well chosen, the contrast works so well on these. It helps the models stand out and adds to their general look 8)

Nice drones.

I really like how they're increasingly common in sci-fi ranges these days.

Just caught up on all the goodness you've been up to lately. I love all of it. The Space Skeleton is amazing, and who couldn't love a cyborg cat.
Thank you for pointing out the Wombat figure. I will be getting a couple of those soon. One to paint right away and one for future inspirations. It's not like they're expensive, and I'd hate to miss out.

Just a quick addition today.  A spiritual gent in a green dress holding a staff.

The blog post on the astropath, with some more images etc is HERE.

Happy St Patricks day.

Thanks Mason.

Although the paint job is simple, the figure is one of those that I have been promising myself some time alone with since the eighties, so finishing it had a lot of additional nostalgia factor.  Sentimentality is a powerful kick sometimes, although one has to keep an eye on it.

Re: Cheetors 28mm Inquisitors etc: Assassinorum Execution Force p.12
« Reply #178 on: 23 June 2015, 10:05:36 PM »

Im hosting a gaming session this weekend and the recent GW "Assassinorum: Execution Force" game is on the cards.  As I have had the earlier assassin sculpts in various states of assembly for years, I decided to paint those models instead of the new (very nice) plastic assassins.

The assassin blog post is HERE.

I may add some more models in this colour scheme as though even though a few things didnt work out as well as I had hoped, I do like the overall look of these guys.
