Herewith Fantasy Barbarian King and Queen by Reaper Miniatures. These are metal miniatures. Been a while since I painted a metal miniature - so been enjoying these recent additions.

I will need to make a great hall or some such for these two.

Cheers Beefcake - Yes they certainly will be useful for Conan inspired games.

Herewith some fantasy warriors the one may well be able to double as a Joan of Arc - though not ideal for the role she will have to do till a find someone better. But otherwise relatively useful generic fantasy.

Got two of my armies out of storage and want to touch them up, finish them and get some games of Dragon Rampant in with them. Elven cavalry still need work, Dwarven cavalry need some more bears and I would like to add another unit of dwarves on ponies and then I also still have two units of Mantic Dwarves to paint and then a old GW canon to fix up, etc.

Wow, those are some impressive armies, well done! I always enjoy seeing the old Grenadier dwarves with paint on them.

Awesome. I reckon you've got enough there to play several games of DR concurrently!  lol

And is that a pixie ballista?

Pixie Ballista indeed lol I am going to call it that from now on... It was originally crewed by Grenadier Orcs. i added a little base to make it stand better and also the ropes for a bit more realism. Grenadier have a Dwarven equivalent a giant crossbow crewed by two dwarves. Which I have but have misplaced it may well be with my dwarven snow army. lol

I am busy with army lists at the moment and yes many points worth of options for Dragon Rampant games. Hope to have a game with some of them tonight at the local club Wycombe Warband.

I was thinking this one. The crew look quite diminutive and blue.

Hope you have a good one tonight. DR is always good for a laugh.

Gosh I always forget that one - I am not really that keen on the Mantic elves they are diminutive and pixie like.

Herewith some orcs for Orctober. Grenadier Fantasy Half-Orcs painted as Lord of the Rings White Hand of Saruman Uruk sorts.

More pictures are available here: https://frictionbmcminiatures.blogspot.com/2022/10/golgothas-lord-of-rings-some-grenadier.html

These will hopefully help bulk out my Lord of the Rings Miniatures orc forces as they go well with the GW sculpts.

Excellent painting and basing! I have always liked those figures (and most of Copplestone’s other fantasy work, too), but don’t have any in my collection yet. I might just have to add a unit or two sometime!

Cheers OshiroModels and Pattus Magnus. Pattus you must get some...

Herewith are some of my favourite miniatures of all time. Could not resist picking up another set recently at the Colours Wargame show. The axemen is not part of the set but I think he looks the part despite having no fur like the others...
