Excellent to see you back posting.

I read your thread a few months ago and really enjoyed it.

Just a question on the kiwi shoe polish, when I last polished shoes kiwi was a wax polish, doesn't it repel the water based washes, the army painter wash is water based I think.

Great you enjoyed it. I use this one and it works fine with the AP washes.

Cheers

Thanks to Mason  ;) I had to make some lampposts. I ordered some lamps from eBay and chopped up some matchsticks. In total I made 6 single posts and 4 double ones.

Here are some pictures:

Unprimed:

Primed (crappy picture):

Hope you like them.

C&C more then welcome.

Cheers,

Very cool, I have some of those lamps on order too and was considering adding some of those to my current lamps as well.  Brilliant minds think alike!  Looking good.

Thanks Elbows. The lamps are biggish but not to big. Just gave them the first coat of paint. Hope to finish them soon. They are a squirrel project because I really should be painting for the LPL  ::)

cheers

I have some on order too, and will probably do something very similar at some point (or not.... ::)).
These ones look great, ZZ, and I shall be watching your progress with interest.

They must be surprised in China. A sudden surge in sales of Lamps.  lol

The first two Lamp Posts are finished. Not bad for an afternoons work.

Not the best of pictures but no daylight and a dying camera battery:

In hindsight they could have been a cm or 2 shorter  :?.

You just need someone with long arms to light then lol lol

Extra clutter is always good, makes the board more believable, have you had any games in your town recently?

It has been a while... I painted these up for the LPL 10 at the beginning of this year. More to come (hopefully). I got some painting mojo back.

Good to see you posting again, your town was a great inspiration to me and a western town is I think the next thing for me to start, once I have finished my Dark Age village.

Could do with some game reports to keep the enthusiasm high. How are you fixed :P
