Fantastic paint job! The light and bright colour scheme is different to what you normally see for that figure. I also really like your 'grey scale' servitor.

Thanks. I was trying not to fall into too familiar a scheme, but I didnt get inspired until somebody pointed out how this characters outfit was quite appropriate.

The intention with those is to have the servitors ready to serve double duty as Borg if/when I get around to some Star Trek gaming.

I do like the colour choices on these additions.
Very effective.

I really could have done without seeing that trailer, though.
It has damaged what limited sensibilities that I have.
Weird!!

Thanks. The servitors are a couple of years old actually, but I put in a shot because blacksoilbill mentioned them as they appeared in the previous ensemble shot. I quite like their monochrome look.

Yeah, very peculiar stuff. Not really my scene, but decent as a source for Witch Hunter colour schemes :)

Shame I've missed it till now  :(

Plenty more to come yet :)  It's a slow burn sort of thing that should generate models for years to come I hope.

Great! I was planning pulp character named Jodorowski too, with his colleagues McKenna and Castaneda and lovely assistant miss. Vargas.
Still not sure which miniatures to use.  :D

Your paint jobs are amazing! I am simply passable in that area, and it's always inspiring to see someone with real talent.

Especially how you have a command of different color schemes, meaning light and dark, and still bringing them all together so they "belong" to your background/world.

Thanks for the kind words folks.

Like you Maj, I am a fan of using miniatures from a variety of sources in my games.  It adds interest when painting.  I am a big believer in using strong, limited palettes to tie figures from different sources together.

Thanks for the feedback :)

This latest addition to this project is based on a bit of old Realm of Chaos 40K era weirdness called "Sensei".

Sensei are immortal sons of the Emperor and owe more than a little of their peculiar background story to the movie "Highlander".  With that in mind I decided to embrace the obvious influence, but grimdark it up a bit.

The blog post with a few more images and some other related stuff is HERE.

Now THAT is a clever idea. Great painting too :)
a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.
