More Bandits! (p4)- FunkyBrush's Fantasy Thread
« Reply #47 on: 01 April 2017, 08:46:14 AM »
I added some minis to my Bandits. A Reaper bandit captain, a Otherworld female barbarian and two old GW bretonians as youngsters. I realy like how this group turned out.

They gel really well together; the great paint jobs tie them closely. I really like your clean, sharp painting style.

Your Bandits are a WONDERFULLY diverse group that go SPLENDIDLY together...i think its the universally BEAUTIFUL brushwork that does it.
The Treasures are of the same oh-so-high quality as the other more active miniatures. You managed to escape the all browns for the chests which is something I never have been able to do. VERY WELL DONE once more!

Thanks Guys! Here are some random fantasy miniatures. The ugly shopkeeper in an old Legend of Zagor mini that I rescued from the dumpster. I love this guy. So much character in this old boardgame mini. The female wizard is a Reaper mini and the elf prince was made by Warcrow.

While all of the brushwork is sublime, really neat and crisp, the sculpt of that shopkeeper is amazing.
I want one!

Everything looks wonderful!  I especially love looking at the Frostgrave warbands at the way you assembled the figures.  I love kit-bashing, and we live in a glorious age of plastic kits, which you are putting to excellent use.  Thanks for sharing!

I painted up Steelheart's Champions from Shadespire. Good looking miniatures. Fun to build and paint. Even the bases are good. The only point of critique are the giant gaps on the shoulder pads. It was really hard to conceal them. Cheers!

Such a great thread!  Your black-lining takes most of these minis to the next level.  And now when I'm tempted to think I can get a similar look with a quick wash I'll have to admit that I'm delusional.  Very inspirational.  Thank you.
